Why I started this site.

For over 20 years, I was a member of a business networking club called SWAP. At each weekly meeting, members were required to recite a great quote. Something motivational or inspiring, something to make you think or simply to make you laugh!

With over 100 members, this meant I was exposed to thousands of great quotes every year. I was always on the lookout for great quotes and I became a quote-aholic. I believe constant exposure to these thoughts, changed the way I thought about life and business and in many ways, this was truly a life-changing experience.

I honestly believe that studying the wisdom of the world's greatest thinkers, can actually change the way you think yourself. As Bruce Lee said, "As you think, so shall you become!" I created this website to share these great thoughts with as many people as I can. It's my small contribution to making the world a better place!

Of course, there are lots of other quote websites on the web and some of them are excellent. However, as a web developer with over 12 years experience, I decided it was not enough to just create another quote site. My mission is to create The Greatest Quote site of all time.
